national centre for mental health exhibit design by Newco81

National Centre for Mental Health

This commission was procured and delivered through my work at Nightingale Associates. The Birmingham Mental Health Trust required exhibition artwork to be displayed at the opening ceremony for three new buildings.

After initial meetings with the Client, these took the form of:

  • a 1.5m square permanent display, showing professional photography of the three schemes. This was printed onto acetate, applied to a thick plastic backing and then wall mounted;
  • a set of six 2.2m tall banner stands, telling the story of the development of the schemes in the form of an illustrated timeline;
  • another pair of banner stands linking together to form the elephant graphic - the post-it notes contain quotes from various people connected with the development of the new buildings;
  • a street-based greeting banner for guests at the ceremony.

Despite a very tight timescale, the project was completed on time and to a high standard that delighted the client.
